THEME

The theme has been decided by you and it is - Drawing a fake animated movie screenshot.
You're not sure what is an animated movie screenshot?
Here take a look at some cool examples I found over at dA:

So yeah basically those are digital drawings framed with solid black, thick lines up and down, with some cool subtitles text and of course one or more characters in it!

In this contest you can picture any moment, part of the "movie", anything you want to with the characters you decided to draw!

Get it? Good. Let's move on.

RULES

You can enter as many times as you want. However, only one of your entries can win a prize.

No porn. But violence/gore is allowed.

When you're done with your entry send me a note with a link.

You may use your own characters, my characters, and other people's characters that will be listed at the journal's bottom. Please, do not use any other characters, without owner's permission.

No stealing or copying other's work, ideas or anything else.

Your work should be digitally made, but if you can make it with traditional media to look as accurate as the digital one, then go ahead! (iex. with ink or even gouache and acrylic paint) C:

Your entry should have black stripe frames(to give it that screenshot-y look) and of course some subtitle text in yellow or white color (to make it easy for reading)

You don't have to use cell shading or gradient shading.

That means you have exactly a year to enter this contest. I believe that is fairly enough time for anyone. :I

-some other useful info you may want to know-

1. Drawing some of my characters, brings you some extra points. ;D

2. The contest will not be judged only on a skill, but more on originality and your ability to make a "believable" fake screenshot. :3

3. If you want help me and to allow me use your characters in this contest(aka to allow other people draw your character in their entry, without directly asking you for your permission) please comment here with links to the pictures of characters. I just wanna give people a huge list of characters from which they'll be able to pick the ones they like the most.
You can see that as a good opportunity to get some free gift art.
I'll put the list of available characters at the journal bottom,as I already said.

4. However if you're drawing someone else's character - don't forget to write credits and copyright notices in deviation description! ;O
